We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to discover us a trustworthy contractor for our repair job. We signed up and advertised our project details, but unfortunately, we were left abandoned at sea.

Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade prioritizes their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

It all starts with their sneaky charges, which they hide in the legalese. Then, there's the terrible helpline that's about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to complain, but it's like chasing ghosts.

We thought we were doing the right choice by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so reliable with their approved traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Right away, the response from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and provided website a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to discuss the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up getting ripped off by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's helpline was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling angry and would definitely not recommend Checkatrade for your tradesman needs.

My rundown with Checkatrade turned into a nightmare. I hired a trader through their platform to complete some crucial home repairs. They seemed reliable at first, but it ended up a horrendous ordeal.
